Jeff's interest in photography started when his parents gave him
his first camera, a Kodak Brownie. Travel became a passion as well,
especially after marrying Joan, his wife of 40 years. She also has
been a catalyst in developing his interest in sharing his photography
with others.
Jeff has lived in Austin, Texas for over thirty years practicing radiology
while pursuing his love of photography and travel. Living in Austin
has allowed him to take advantage of the beautiful spring wildflower
displays and become skilled at close up wildflower photography.
It was in the early 1990s that he became serious about macrophotography
of flowers and took his award-winning photo of the rose. From this
successful start he has refined his skills and continues to demonstrate
the beauty in flowers that is otherwise not seen with the naked
eye.
In addition to flower photography, he also pursues his interest
in travel and landscape photography. He now has gone digital in
both photography and printing.
